About the Role
Associate Photographers capture media for Homes.com and Apartments.com using a Matterport Pro 3 camera, digital cameras and an iPad. Each photographer is assigned a core territory and schedules appointments to scan homes and apartments, creating virtual tours, floor plans and marketing photography. The role works closely with clients, sales associates, logistics and management, and is managed remotely by a local Photography Manager. • Capture 3‑D virtual tours and floor plans for Homes.com and Apartments.com using Matterport Pro 3 equipment. • Create high‑quality photographs that showcase homes and apartments for marketing purposes. • Coordinate with scheduling and dispatch teams to optimize appointment coverage and meet client demand. • Communicate professionally with clients, sales, research partners and management to prioritize tasks. • Survey assigned market grids to identify and document commercial real‑estate inventory when not on residential assignments. • Follow CoStar safety protocols to protect company vehicles and equipment. • Represent CoStar professionally in all interactions. • Participate in conference calls with sales and research teams as needed. • Utilize virtual and in‑person mental‑health counseling services. • Participate in a 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions. • Engage with CoStar’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion employee resource groups.

What You Bring
The position requires up to eight hours a day of sitting, standing, walking and driving, with the ability to lift equipment up to five pounds and perform repetitive hand motions on a tablet or laptop. Photographers must be able to work in all weather conditions, drive safely with a valid license, and be available for rotating weekend shifts. Candidates need at least two years of professional experience, including real‑estate photography and a recent photography degree or equivalent. A FAA Part 107 drone‑pilot certification, strong time‑management, detail orientation, and excellent communication and organizational skills are required. Proficiency with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office and internet applications, as well as a clean driving record, are also expected. • Maintain at least two years of professional experience, including real‑estate photography. • Hold a recent photography degree or equivalent professional experience. • Obtain and retain an FAA Part 107 drone‑pilot license within 30 days of hire. • Demonstrate strong time‑management, attention to detail and data‑entry accuracy. • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication and organizational skills. • Proficient with Windows, macOS, Microsoft Office and internet applications. • Work independently in a fast‑paced environment and possess field experience preferred. • Hold a current, valid driver’s license and pass a driving record check.

The role is hourly with a base pay equivalent to $50,000 per year and eligibility for monthly performance‑based bonuses.
