About the Role
The role involves completing mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities, developing budgetary M/E estimates, reviewing design options, and coordinating scopes during the bid process. You will also create sequencing plans, conduct inspections, manage shop‑drawing and submittal processes, and support commissioning through checklists and functional testing. • Perform mechanical, electrical, and field construction activities from entry‑level to complex project phases. • Develop and review budgetary M/E estimates using program and schematic designs. • Analyze mechanical/electrical options, provide value‑engineering recommendations, and coordinate scopes during the bid process. • Create sequencing plans, review shop drawings, and produce commissioning documents, including pre‑functional checklists and functional testing procedures. • Conduct job inspections, identify quality issues, and implement quality‑control programs. • Mentor junior staff, develop M/E tools, and negotiate subcontracts and equipment purchases. • Build client relationships, support business development, and represent the M/E department at external events. • Apply Lean processes, BIM, and scheduling software to improve project efficiency.

A bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, architectural engineering or a related field is required, with 10+ years of construction‑management experience preferred. The position requires a valid unrestricted driver’s license and offers a professional non‑union benefits package.
