About the Role

In this role you will support directional drilling for the installation of underground conduit and fiber‑optic cable, collaborating with the Drill Locator to install coax and fiber systems, ensuring the safety of the public and existing underground utilities, and handling daily transport of heavy equipment. • Locate horizontal directional drill for underground conduit and fiber optic cable installation • Operate horizontal directional bore with Drill Locator to install coax and fiber systems • Ensure public safety and protect existing underground utility facilities • Read utility locates and coordinate daylighting of facilities • Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites daily

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has at least two years of urban utility directional drilling experience, is comfortable operating Vermeer or Ditch Witch drills, can read maps and diagrams, holds a clean‑record Class A CDL, and demonstrates a safety‑first attitude, problem‑solving ability, and a hands‑on team approach. • Minimum 2 years urban utility directional drilling experience • Proficient with Vermeer or Ditch Witch drills of various sizes • Ability to read maps, drawings, and diagrams • Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record • Strong safety focus, problem‑solving skills, and hands‑on teamwork
