About the Role

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic III you will service and repair essential equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, loaders, backhoes, and other site machinery, performing diagnostics, preventative maintenance, and documentation to keep operations running smoothly. • Repair and maintain heavy equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, loaders, yard trucks, tractors, forklifts, and company vehicles. • Diagnose and fix differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, HVAC, and electrical systems. • Perform preventative maintenance per site checklists and complete related paperwork. • Service ancillary equipment like light plants, water pumps, welders, and other site machinery.

What You Bring

Successful team members thrive independently, take ownership of their work quality, communicate effectively with colleagues, and bring curiosity and determination to solving mechanical challenges. The role requires frequent physical effort—including lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing—and exposure to typical site hazards such as chemicals, noise, and weather, with appropriate personal protective equipment provided. • Minimum 6 years experience as a heavy‑equipment maintenance mechanic. • Valid driver’s license with clean record; pass pre‑employment drug screen, physical, PFT, audiogram, and respirator fit test. • Ability to work independently, take accountability, communicate effectively, and solve problems. • Required PPE includes respirators, barrier suits, Tyvek coveralls, appropriate gloves, steel‑toe boots, safety glasses, and hard hats.
