About the Role
The System Sales Representative 1 drives sales and revenue by identifying and pursuing opportunities for the company’s electrical systems and solutions. The role requires deep product knowledge, effective communication of technical features, market analysis, proposal preparation, and both pre‑sales and post‑sales customer support. • Identify and pursue bid opportunities through research, leads, and networking. • Gather and review project specifications, drawings, and documentation to develop competitive estimates. • Attend pre‑bid meetings, site walks, and coordinate with manufacturers to specify correct equipment. • Prepare and submit proposals, bid bonds, certifications, insurance, and subcontractor information. • Maintain opportunity lists, electronic files, and monitor project status with engineering/design teams. • Conduct value engineering, order materials, and coordinate with supply chain for parts and equipment. • Meet with technicians, attend job‑site meetings, and perform site visits to ensure installation schedule. • Manage post‑sale activities: close‑out documents, billing, testing/inspection proposals, and customer follow‑up. • Generate new business through cold calling and develop relationships with contractors, property managers, and owners. • Deliver product presentations and process change orders as needed.

Benefits
The position is located in Reno, NV (Rex Moore – Sierra Nevada) and is a full‑time, day‑shift role with a salary range of $83,800 to $132,100. Travel requirements are negligible.
