About the Role
The representative will identify and pursue new business opportunities for aggregates within the construction sector and build lasting relationships as the primary point of contact for customers. Responsibilities include educating clients on product features, specifications, and competitive advantages, as well as providing technical guidance on product applications. The role also focuses on expanding existing accounts and targeting growth in the earthwork industry. Managing the sales pipeline and orderbook to ensure accurate forecasting and timely delivery is essential, along with developing strategic action plans and pricing strategies. Effective communication with the Operations team will help align production capacity with customer demand. • Identify and pursue new aggregate business opportunities in the construction market. • Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships as the primary contact. • Educate clients on product features, specifications, and competitive advantages. • Provide technical guidance on product applications for earthwork projects. • Manage the sales pipeline and orderbook to ensure accurate forecasting and delivery. • Develop and track strategic action plans and pricing strategies to drive growth. • Coordinate with Operations to align production capacity with customer demand.

What You Bring
A high school diploma or GED is required, with a post‑secondary degree preferred. Candidates must have a proven record of 3–5 years of high‑energy sales and marketing success. Technical proficiency to understand and explain product specifications, intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities are required. Excellent time‑management and critical‑thinking skills are also essential. Successful candidates must complete a pre‑employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and background check. Applicants must reside in the United States and be authorized to work there. A valid state driver’s license with a clean and insurable driving record is required, as the role involves travel within the greater Seattle area. The position is primarily field‑based, with frequent visits to plants, customer offices, job sites, and prospective projects, though some office work is expected. Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer systems is necessary, as is visual acuity for reading and entering data from documents. • Hold a high school diploma/GED; post‑secondary degree preferred. • Possess 3–5 years of proven high‑energy sales and marketing experience. • Demonstrate technical proficiency to explain product specifications and applications. • Exhibit strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean record and travel within the Seattle area.
