About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the Forecasting team within the Financial Controller organisation in Civil. This unique and broad role gives the holder the opportunity to understand the financials of Commercial Aviation and work with a wide range of people across the value streams. Reporting to the Head of Forecasting, you will be a key player in creating and analysing the Commercial Aviation forecasts, coordinating inputs and providing insightful commentary to help senior finance leaders understand their numbers and support FP&A submissions. In this role you will understand all aspects of the Income Statement, Cashflow, Balance Sheet, Working Capital for Commercial Aviation, and the levers to influence the financials. You will manage a variety of inputs used in the forecasting process, act as the dedicated point of contact for one value stream, lead the forecasting process and support the SVP/FBP in creating forecasts and submissions into FP&A. You will also support process‑improvement projects, ensure governance compliance, and champion a process‑improvement mindset. • Create and analyse Commercial Aviation forecasts, coordinating inputs and providing commentary. • Manage forecasting inputs and serve as primary contact for a designated value stream. • Support SVP/FBP in forecast creation and FP&A submission processes. • Lead process‑improvement initiatives and ensure governance compliance. • Apply working knowledge of Value‑Based Management (VBM) and build effective cross‑team relationships. • Drive continuous process improvement and leverage services experience where applicable.

What You Bring

A qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or someone working towards qualification is required, together with background in actuals/forecasting processes. Preferred requirements include advanced Excel skills for consolidating inputs, working knowledge of VBM, ability to build effective relationships across diverse teams, and a drive for process improvement; services experience is advantageous. • Utilise advanced Excel skills to consolidate diverse data for analysis.
