About the Role

The Material Handler supports the distribution center’s mission by processing inbound, work‑in‑process, and outbound freight accurately, timely, and safely. Responsibilities include receiving, labeling, put‑away, order picking, slotting, replenishment, and critical “ship‑today” order fulfillment using electronic WMS and material‑handling equipment while maintaining quality, safety, and continuous‑improvement standards. • Perform receiving, labeling, put‑away, order picking, slotting, replenishment, and critical “ship‑today” order fulfillment. • Read and execute tasks using electronic WMS, selecting correct items and counting quantities. • Inspect materials for visual damage and verify outbound shipments against bill of lading. • Store items in designated locations with proper organization and labeling. • Safely operate reach trucks, order/cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material‑handling equipment. • Resolve picking/put‑away discrepancies and research solutions. • Follow written and oral instructions, adhere to company policies, and maintain good housekeeping. • Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives such as 5S. • Manage multiple tasks efficiently without loss of productivity.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, certification to operate powered industrial equipment, and at least one year of warehouse experience operating reach trucks or order/cherry pickers. Preferred qualifications include Oracle Warehouse Management System experience and three years of warehouse experience. The role requires the ability to lift 50 lb unassisted, work the specified shift, and be flexible for overtime as needed. • Use RF scanner and computer keyboard for all transactions. • Hold a high school diploma or GED. • Possess certification to operate powered industrial equipment. • Have at least one year of warehouse experience operating reach trucks or cherry pickers. • Preferred: Oracle WMS experience and three years of warehouse experience. • Ability to lift 50 lb unassisted and work the 6:30 am‑3:00 pm shift with overtime flexibility.
