About the Role

• Prepare design drawings using AutoCAD or Civil3D • Perform design work in consultation with the Engineer of Record • Prepare reports, manuals, and technical memorandums • Follow quality control procedures per Binnie’s Professional Practice Management Plan • Ensure designs and calculations comply with applicable standards • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors • Participate in employee resource groups, speech club, book club, and community initiatives

What You Bring

The ideal candidate is a recent civil engineering graduate who is registered as an EIT with EGBC and eager to apply 0‑2 years of design experience in a consulting setting. You should be comfortable using design software, managing multiple tasks, and communicating technical information to clients, consultants, and contractors. A valid driver’s license and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude are considered assets. • Hold a Civil Engineering degree • Possess 0‑2 years of design experience in civil consulting • Be a registered EIT with EGBC • Demonstrate proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil3D • Exhibit strong written communication and technical report writing skills • Manage time effectively and handle multiple concurrent projects • Work cooperatively in a team environment; valid driver’s license is an asset
