About the Role
The Senior Design Engineer will develop new crushing plant designs and maintain existing equipment within defined timelines. Responsibilities include providing engineered solutions, solving root‑cause issues, managing engineering changes, and applying Group standards such as QFD, FMEA, design‑for‑manufacture, prototype development and field testing. The engineer will also ensure engineering data is globally managed, meet safety and reliability standards, reduce manufacturing costs through design improvements, and promptly address customer complaints while staying abreast of component and competitor trends. • Provide engineered solutions for new product development and modifications. • Resolve root‑cause problems quickly and manage engineering change processes. • Apply Group standards: QFD, FMEA, design‑for‑manufacture, prototype development, field testing. • Ensure global management of released engineering data via IT systems. • Verify products meet safety, functionality and reliability performance levels. • Reduce manufacturing cost through design improvements and collaboration with production, purchasing and suppliers. • Investigate and address customer complaints in a timely manner. • Stay current with component advancements and competitor design trends to incorporate latest technology. • Identify technical and commercial risks associated with product changes or new products.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold an engineering degree or equivalent, ideally with design experience in mobile tracked equipment. Proficiency in 3D solid modeling CAD (preferably Creo) and familiarity with PDM systems are required, along with strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge. Good English communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are essential, and experience with Oracle TMS is a plus. A creative, innovative mindset and a "can‑do" attitude are valued. • Engineering degree or equivalent, preferably with mobile tracked equipment design experience. • Proficient in 3D solid modeling CAD (ideally Creo) and familiar with PDM systems. • Strong mechanical and hydraulic systems expertise. • Knowledge of conveying systems (advantageous). • Excellent English written and spoken communication; strong presentation and interpersonal skills. • Experience with Oracle TMS is a plus. • "Can‑do" attitude, creativity and innovative thinking. • Ability to work cross‑functionally, meet deadlines, assess workload and select among design alternatives.
