About the Role

• Establish effective control processes in compliance with the Guide to Railway Investment Projects (GRIP) and maintain them at Territory/Project level. • Review new project proposals/remits and ensure realistic, resourced plans are developed. • Identify resourcing requirements and coordinate with the Territory Delivery Planning Unit and national resource planning functions to resolve issues. • Provide efficient day‑to‑day reporting service to Programme and Project Managers on plans, costs, safety, environment and performance. • Monitor data input by project teams to cost and performance systems to meet required standards. • Manage production of the Investment Plan at Territory/Project level as part of the Business Planning Process. • Comply with the Investment Competence Framework.

What You Bring

• Experience performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control and analysis, both in the field and the home office. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Proficiency with PC operating systems and basic software applications. • Proficiency with discipline‑specific software such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office. • Intermediate knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction and start‑up work processes. • Knowledge of engineering and construction management. • Degree qualified in a construction‑related subject.
