About the Role
This position ensures reliable operation of the building’s mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems while maintaining tenant safety. • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, life safety, fire protection, and security systems. • Conduct routine lubrication, adjustment, cleaning, replace consumables, and test equipment for air handling units, recirculating air systems, water pumps, cooling plants, and plumbing components. • Respond promptly to tenant complaints regarding safety, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and environmental issues via direct contact and work order system. • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and work order records using preventative maintenance software. • Coordinate approvals and schedule work with contractors, tenants, and management; keep detailed work order logs. • Ensure building safety and continuous operation while performing assigned tasks. • Follow all written operating procedures for the site. • Assist with snow and ice removal, including coordinating plowing and salting activities by outside vendors. • Manage multiple projects and make decisions effectively. • Maintain required licenses and current union membership.

What You Bring
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • Possess 2–3 years of building operations engineering experience. • Demonstrate general computer proficiency.
