About the Role
The EW Electrical Engineer will support the development, integration, and testing of a new EW system. Core duties include developing and managing system‑level requirements, creating operational system concepts, and performing system‑level integration and testing. Key responsibilities encompass engineering support for EW system integration and testing, deriving mission‑driven requirements, validating vendor‑delivered products, and conducting thorough technical assessments and performance analyses. The engineer will also produce detailed test reports that outline structure, rationale, analysis, conclusions, and recommendations for future development. • Provide engineering support for integration and testing of EW systems. • Derive mission‑driven requirements for EW systems. • Validate and verify vendor‑delivered EW products. • Conduct technical assessments, analysis, and performance evaluations of EW systems. • Generate detailed test reports with structure, rationale, analysis, conclusions, and future recommendations. • Perform requirement analysis and management for the EW system. • Produce strong technical documentation and communicate findings effectively.

What You Bring
KBR is seeking an experienced Electronic Warfare (EW) Electrical Engineer to provide integration and testing support for the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) C-130J Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Office. The role will be based at Wright‑Paterson Air Force Base or Robins Air Force Base. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, a DoD SECRET security clearance, and at least ten years of engineering test experience. Candidates must have general electrical and avionics knowledge, hands‑on laboratory/field experience, and familiarity with the DOD acquisition process. Preferred qualifications consist of a Master’s degree in engineering, knowledge of EW modeling and simulation techniques, design experience with EW hardware and software, and proficiency in standard EW and aircraft platform software such as C++ and MATLAB.
