About the Role

The Senior Field Controls Engineer is responsible for the full lifecycle of HVAC Control and Building Automation projects. This includes installing, troubleshooting, and optimizing Direct Digital Control systems while serving as the primary technical contact for customers. The engineer delivers turnkey projects on medium to large‑scale jobs, ensures proper system operation, and trains clients on their new systems. • Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize Direct Digital Control systems. • Serve as local technical contact and provide solutions for complex issues. • Deliver turnkey projects on medium to large scale, ensuring proper operation of controls, sensors, and software. • Load software, configure trends, alarms, and reports. • Implement time‑management strategies to ensure customer satisfaction. • Communicate and document project status and details for the customer. • Provide site‑specific training to owners/operators on the complete system.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED. • Minimum 3 years experience in HVAC controls, building automation, or related technical field. • Ability to climb ladders or use lift equipment over 8 ft and lift items up to 50 lb. • Valid, current driver’s license meeting company insurance requirements. • Associate/Bachelor’s degree or technical certificate in HVAC, controls, or related field. • Proficiency with advanced building automation software (e.g., i‑Vu) and control installation. • Expertise with TCP/IP networks, including wireless technology. • Ability to integrate across various building automation systems. • Strong communication skills for translating technical information to non‑technical audiences and teamwork. • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications. • Experience handling multiple simultaneous challenges across disciplines.
