About the Role

As an Outside Sales Representative/Account Manager at Milton Rents, you will drive sales and rentals of light and heavy construction equipment within your territory, meeting customers on job sites and building lasting relationships. This is a salary plus commission position offering high income potential for motivated individuals. The role requires developing a robust lead database, cultivating client relationships, consistently meeting sales quotas, collaborating with the Credit Department on accounts and financing, providing expert equipment consultations, delivering compelling proposals, and maintaining regular contact with clients to ensure satisfaction. • Generate qualified leads via referrals, calls, cold calling, and networking • Build and maintain client relationships, follow up on referrals • Meet and exceed sales quotas for equipment sales and rentals • Collaborate with Credit Department to open new accounts and handle financing paperwork • Provide expert equipment consultations and create proposal presentations • Gather data to ensure efficient sales and rental processing • Maintain regular contact with assigned‑area clients to ensure satisfaction

What You Bring

Physical duties include extensive use of telephone and email, and the ability to sit, stand, walk, drive, talk for long periods, and lift up to 50 lb. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license, strong account and territory management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
