About the Role
As an HVAC Service Sales Representative, you will drive growth and long‑term success of Johnson Controls’ HVAC Service business. Working within an assigned geographic territory and a supportive local branch team, you will act as a trusted partner to prospective customers, initiating relationships, identifying needs, and positioning Johnson Controls as their service provider of choice. The role is people‑focused, energetic, and essential for expanding market reach. You will follow a disciplined sales process to qualify and target prospects, using market insights, networking, and referrals to build a strong pipeline. Through calls, visits, and appointments you will uncover facility needs, conduct discovery conversations with Facility Directors and key stakeholders, and present tailored solutions emphasizing maintenance agreements, digital services, sustainability, and decarbonization. You will prepare proposals, secure commitments, lead kickoff meetings, support issue resolution, and manage service agreement extensions and collections as needed. Progress will be tracked in Salesforce.com and other JCI tools, with regular updates to management and timely requests for coaching to keep deals moving. What You Bring
The position requires 2–3 years of progressive sales experience, a strong technical aptitude, excellent presentation and communication skills, and experience selling service‑based or intangible offerings. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, familiarity with structured sales methodologies, and experience using Salesforce.com. Post‑secondary education or equivalent experience is also valued. • Required: 2–3 years progressive sales experience and strong technical aptitude. • Preferred: Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and experience with Salesforce.com. • Excellent presentation and communication skills for individual and group engagements.

Benefits
Compensation includes a salary range of $61k‑92k, determined by education, experience, and market data, plus a competitive sales incentive plan based on project volume and margin.
