What You Bring
We are looking for a data scientist with proven experience in building models and machine learning to deliver actionable results that add value to the organization. The preferred candidate will have a degree and Materials/Supply Chain data experience. The Sr. Specialist, Data Science and Governance will focus on developing tools to improve data and processes for Hubbell and will engage with business partners to facilitate optimal tools and clean SAP data. Applicants need at least five years of experience building data science models and machine learning, plus a minimum of one year working with materials or supply chain processes and master data, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with SAP data sources is required. Proficiency in R or Python, SQL, and a solid understanding of data modeling and optimization best practices are essential. Experience with MS Office, SAP HANA, and Power BI (DAX) is considered helpful. The successful candidate can independently identify and promote opportunities for emerging technologies, influence and collaborate across the organization, and holds a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or an equivalent field.
