About the Role

What You Bring
We are seeking a full‑time Department Manager for the Southeast Area Environmental Planning and Permitting (EPP) Department, overseeing approximately 60 professionals across the southeastern United States. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, maintaining high staff utilization without compromising quality, safety or performance, managing the department’s profit and loss, and mentoring staff. Success requires an excellent work ethic, strong interpersonal skills and a professional attitude. Minimum qualifications include a BA/BS in Environmental Sciences (or equivalent) with ten years of related experience, including at least two years of leadership, a valid driver’s license and U.S. citizenship. Preferred qualifications are an MA/MS or MBA, fifteen or more years of natural‑resource investigation experience in the Southeast, proven ability to lead interdisciplinary teams producing complex environmental documents, and experience in fiscal management and reporting for large projects.
