About the Role
The position’s primary purpose is to safely operate a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, adhering to OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. • Operate the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulations, keeping it clean and safe. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and note issues for corrective action. • Report unsafe conditions, service calls, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to the Operations Manager or Dispatch immediately. • Participate in required trainings, briefings, and meetings, and collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe accounts. • Follow assigned routes, dump containers, clean customer sites, position containers properly, and complete all required documentation and customer tickets. • Communicate customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager and assist other drivers as directed. • Maintain an acceptable driving record.

What You Bring
We are seeking experienced CDL drivers (industry experience preferred) for a full‑time, Monday‑through‑Friday shift from 3:15 am to 2:00 pm. The role includes a yearly boot allowance and offers clear pathways for advancement within Waste Management. Qualifications include a Commercial Driver’s License (Class B), minimum age of 18, an acceptable driving record, and successful completion of pre‑employment DOT drug screening, physical, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review. No prior experience or formal education is required. • Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (minimum age 18). • Pass pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical exam, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review. • No prior experience or formal education required.
