Proposal Coordinator
Coordinate and support end‑to‑end environmental proposal development at TRC.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Manage internal workflows: route drafts for review, compile reviewer comments, and track version history. • Analyze RFQs/RFPs and assist in developing compliance matrices, proposal outlines, and schedules. • Assist with post-submission activities, including interview preparation, file archiving, and proposal debriefs. • Coordinate the collection and integration of proposal content, including staff resumes, project descriptions, forms, and certifications. • Maintain and regularly update content libraries (resumes, project write-ups, past performance data). • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across TRC, including technical, BD, and marketing staff. • Draft, edit, and tailor content for non-technical sections (firm qualifications, cover letters, executive summaries). • Ensure all proposal submissions meet client requirements, are delivered on time, and reflect TRC’s brand and messaging standards. • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including proposal templates, style guides, and team best practices. • Support end-to-end proposal development, from opportunity tracking to final submission

What You Bring
• Self-motivated, responsive, and committed to delivering high-quality work. • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and organization. • Familiarity with SF330 forms preferred but not required. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Adobe InDesign preferred. • 2-5 years of experience in a proposal coordination, marketing, or writing-focused role within the A/E/C, environmental, or professional services industry. • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Strong understanding of municipal and state procurement processes; experience reviewing and responding to public sector RFPs and RFQs. • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, environmental studies, or related field. • Familiarity with environmental services or consulting preferred, but not required.
