About the Role
As a Change Control Manager reporting to the Project Manager, you will identify scope, condition, or design changes that affect cost or schedule, work with engineers and schedulers to quantify impacts, and prepare and track Change Order Requests. You will investigate potential claims, develop claim documentation and Time Impact Analyses, collaborate with legal and contract teams, maintain a Change Log and Claims Register, and support negotiations and dispute resolution. Weekly and monthly reporting on change and claim status will be provided to project and executive leadership. • Identify and evaluate scope, condition, or design changes for cost and schedule impact. • Quantify impacts with engineers, estimators, and schedulers; prepare Change Order Requests. • Track all change actions from initiation to final approval and maintain Change Log and Claims Register. • Investigate and document claims, including narratives, cost breakdowns, and Time Impact Analyses using Primavera P6. • Collaborate with legal, contract, and project teams to ensure compliance and support negotiations. • Provide regular reports on pending, approved, and denied changes or claims to leadership.

What You Bring
The expected salary range for this position is $225,000‑$275,000 depending on experience. The role requires on‑site work Monday through Friday, and staffing agency candidates will not be considered. Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred) and at least ten years of experience in change management and control. Candidates must have a strong understanding of construction contracts such as the NYC Standard Construction Contract, EPA‑funded public works projects, PLAs, and AIS, as well as proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar tools. Analytical abilities for cost and schedule evaluation and excellent technical and legal writing skills are essential. • Require bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (preferred). • Minimum 10 years experience in change management and control. • Strong knowledge of NYC construction contracts, EPA‑funded projects, PLAs, and related regulations. • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar tools. • Excellent analytical, technical, and legal writing skills.
