About the Role
• Process purchasing award summaries and documents. • Assist in developing commodity team strategies aligned with global purchasing and logistics objectives. • Develop sourcing lists and monitor supplier performance. • Resolve pricing, invoicing, and contract issues with suppliers. • Negotiate pricing, terms, and annual contracts. • Analyze supplier cost and pricing data and benchmark competition. • Maintain communication between internal departments, management, and suppliers. • Support cost‑saving initiatives. • Implement standardized, digitized procurement processes. • Forecast annual material volumes, savings, tooling costs, and repair budget. • Maintain good housekeeping practices. • Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards per Rolls‑Royce Code of Conduct. • Promote a compliance culture within the area of responsibility.

What You Bring
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field, or possess extensive procurement experience. Travel on a limited basis, both domestic and international, may be required to learn commodity processes at supplier locations. • Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Materials Management, Business Finance, or related field. • Minimum 5 years of procurement, materials management, supplier cost analysis, or supply chain experience (or 9 years without degree). • Ability to travel domestically and internationally on a limited basis. • Willingness to learn commodity processes at supplier locations. • Experience handling confidential matters with discretion. • Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills. • Strong knowledge of purchasing practices and procedures. • Advanced financial/cost analysis and problem‑solving abilities. • Strong organizational, planning, and follow‑up skills. • Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication. • Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering documents. • Self‑starter able to work independently. • Knowledge of production planning, supply chain, or materials management processes. • Proficiency with PC and MS Office; SAP experience preferred. • Specific knowledge of off‑highway diesel engine commodities, materials, and products. • Engineering or technical degree; German language skills beneficial.
