Project Assistant I
Inspect and verify energy generation/storage installations across California sites.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Complete findings report within one week of site visit and submit for quality control review • Coordinate workflow with other inspectors • Follow TRC safety protocols • Document findings using TRC’s digital data collection tools • Maintain the correct status of a project in TRC’s Tracking Database • Conduct site visits to verify installation and operation of new energy generation, storage, or controls equipment • Plan, coordinate, and schedule inspections with the host customers, grouping multiple customers to minimize travel time between sites

What You Bring
• Excellent oral and written communications skills • Comfortable handling and using a ladder to access roof top equipment • Ability to work independently and in a team setting. • Valid driver’s license • Academic and / or professional experience displaying a strong interest in sustainability and green building is a strong plus • Require approximately 50% travel time (visiting customer sites around Northern California and Central Valley) • Computer proficiency, experience with Windows-based office applications required • Hands-on experience with mechanical or electrical systems is a strong plus • Strong customer service and client relationship management skills and enthusiasm for energy conservation.
