What You Bring

• Technical school or Associate’s degree • 10+ years roadway/highway inspection experience • Prior FDOT or comparable agency experience • Hold relevant industry certifications (e.g., CTQP, IMSA, FDOT, nuclear safety, stormwater, erosion control) • Ability to interpret construction schedules • High School diploma or equivalent • Minimum 5 years of related experience • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Strong written communication skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Pass required drug‑screening and random testing

The CEI team works independently on FDOT projects such as milling, resurfacing, bridge construction, signalization, earthwork, stripping operations, and final estimate preparation, interacting daily with FDOT Project Administrators and staff.
