About the Role
• Lead growth, profitability, and operational excellence for the Worktools division. • Develop and execute sales strategies for worktools and attachments, tracking revenue and margin KPIs. • Manage costs (trades, rentals, repairs, depreciation, installation) and optimize pricing and manufacturer programs. • Partner with marketing to promote the brand through campaigns, website content, store displays, and trade shows. • Maintain optimal inventory levels, reduce aged stock, and manage component inventory processes. • Provide competitive data, pricing, and technical support to sales and service teams. • Oversee training programs for staff and service teams across in‑person, online, and field formats. • Manage vendor relationships to ensure support for sales, parts, warranty, and technical needs. • Supervise installation processes, conduct cost audits, and enforce safety and best‑practice standards. • Lead special projects, assess risks, and advise senior management on execution. • Drive digital transformation by adopting CRM, Microsoft Dynamics, and analytics tools. • Build strong relationships with sales and service managers across six states through regular visits. • Report performance metrics to senior leadership and implement corrective actions. • Mentor and develop a high‑impact team fostering collaboration and accountability.

What You Bring
Milton CAT seeks a dynamic General Manager for its Worktools Division, responsible for driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence across the business. The candidate will lead strategies for sales, marketing, inventory, technical support, and training while ensuring strong collaboration across teams and vendors. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience. • Minimum three years of sales experience in the heavy‑equipment industry, preferably parts and service. • Proven leadership in sales, operations, or product management within a technical or equipment‑related sector. • Demonstrated supervisory experience with ability to develop and mentor teams. • Strong business and financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting and forecasting. • Proficiency in CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred) and data‑analytics platforms. • Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills across departments and external partners. • Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma or PMP are preferred. • Willingness to travel up to 50% in year 1 and approximately 25% thereafter; valid driver’s license with good record. • Mechanical aptitude with understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems. • Ability to present to large groups and lead cross‑functional initiatives. • Problem‑solving mindset focused on achieving objectives rather than dwelling on limitations.

Benefits
The position offers a base salary of $115,000‑$130,000 plus bonus eligibility. Travel is required up to 50% of the time in the first year and about 25% thereafter to store locations and meetings across six states.
