About the Role

The role covers a range of Built Environment CFD applications, including wind comfort, atmospheric dispersion, fire dynamics, hydrodynamics, HVAC/thermal comfort and data‑centre simulations. • Provide CFD modelling support and lead efforts on high‑profile UK and international projects. • Develop simulations for wind comfort, atmospheric dispersion, fire dynamics, hydrodynamics, HVAC/thermal comfort, and data‑centres. • Collaborate with design teams, architects and clients throughout project delivery. • Create geometry using CAD tools such as Rhino or Inventor. • Apply programming skills in Python or other languages (advantageous). • Operate Linux environments and on‑premises or cloud‑based HPC systems (advantageous).

What You Bring

WSP is seeking an experienced CFD Modelling Engineer for its London, Manchester or Leeds offices to support and lead modelling efforts on high‑profile projects across the UK and internationally as part of its growth strategy. The successful candidate will have prior CFD consulting experience, be confident liaising with design teams, architects and clients, and possess a proven track record of applying CFD and general engineering skills to diverse problems. • Demonstrate CFD consultancy experience in a professional setting. • Hold a postgraduate degree (PhD, MSc, or MEng) in CFD, Aeronautics, Mechanical Engineering, Fire Engineering or Sustainable Design. • Use CFD software like OpenFOAM, STAR‑CCM+/Ansys Fluent or Fire Dynamics Simulator.
