Maintenance Technician

About the Role

The Maintenance Technician supports all maintenance activities—including corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic work—and assists with the make‑ready turn process under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Perform corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance on community areas, buildings, and units. • Respond promptly to resident and management work orders and service requests. • Assist with make‑ready turnover processes and scheduling of repairs. • Conduct swimming pool maintenance, cleaning, and chemical logging. • Inspect grounds and property daily to identify and remediate hazards. • Maintain the preventative maintenance program and ensure OSHA compliance. • Keep the maintenance shop organized, stocked, and follow safety standards. • Record service requests, EPA/OSHA compliance, maintenance activities, and make‑ready status. • Provide excellent customer service and enforce community policies. • Participate in on‑call emergency duties and after‑hours coverage as needed. • Meet physical demands: lift/move objects 100+ lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, handle tools and vehicles.

What You Bring

• Hold a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA. • Possess reliable transportation for emergency on‑call requirements.

Benefits
