About the Role

• Develop technically competent, best‑value reports using efficient practices for clients. • Support all aspects of project delivery, including financial analysis, client liaison, statutory consultations, quality control, and management of specialists, contractors and sub‑consultants. • Manage project work with robust financial oversight and assume budget responsibility for delivery. • Assist in allocating and managing team resources appropriately across projects. • Manage, motivate, mentor and develop professional staff within the geotechnical team. • Ensure delivery meets high technical standards, quality requirements and budget constraints. • Operate according to accepted methods, legislation (including CDM) and WSP’s SHEQ standards, taking ownership of SHEQ management for the team. • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams on geotechnical projects, providing professional advice that builds relationships and raises the team’s profile. • Undertake personal and team professional development, represent the geotechnical team at conferences and manage capability building across the team. • Support business development by contributing to geotechnical bids, proposals and new client opportunities.
