About the Role
• Lead end‑to‑end cost management for hyperscale data‑center programs, aligning scope, budget, and schedule. • Develop and maintain detailed cost plans, estimates, and forecasts using industry benchmarks. • Manage change control, review and negotiate change orders, and ensure robust commercial governance. • Oversee contractor and subcontractor pricing reviews, scope validation, and procurement strategy. • Coordinate with scheduling teams to integrate cost forecasts with project timelines. • Produce monthly cost reports, executive summaries, and financial updates for stakeholders. • Act as primary liaison with clients, consultants, and vendors throughout project phases. • Perform cost risk analysis, scenario planning, and monitor market trends for pricing insights. • Drive cost optimization and value‑engineering initiatives to reduce lifecycle costs. • Track performance against KPIs and present findings to senior leadership. • Manage financial performance through internal systems, BMS implementation, and margin tracking. • Identify and implement improvements to cost‑management processes, templates, and tools. • Lead, mentor, and develop junior staff, fostering a high‑performance, collaborative culture. • Serve as brand ambassador, build market pipeline, and support business development activities. • Ensure compliance with SOX controls where applicable.

What You Bring
The firm is hiring an Associate Director – Cost Manager/Quantity Surveyor to provide expert cost management on a large‑scale, mission‑critical data‑center program. This client‑facing leadership role requires strong communication skills, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, and strategic direction to ensure successful delivery of cost services while embodying Turner & Townsend’s purpose, values, and vision. • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or related field; graduate degree preferred. • 8‑10+ years of cost management or project controls experience on large‑scale, mission‑critical construction projects. • Proven client‑facing delivery experience in construction consultancy. • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, resilience requirements, and campus‑scale infrastructure. • Expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, cost control, Earned Value Management and procurement. • Proficiency with CostX, Oracle, Excel, Primavera or similar cost‑management tools. • RICS accreditation or progress toward certification highly desirable. • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.

Benefits
The position is based in Boulder, CO, with an expectation of approximately 50% onsite presence each month in Cheyenne, WY to support project delivery and stakeholder engagement. Travel arrangements and accommodations are provided to facilitate a smooth on‑site experience. The salary range for this full‑time role is $165K‑$190K per year, with the final compensation reflecting experience and qualifications.
