About the Role
The SH&E Coordinator ensures that safety, health, and environmental standards are met across projects, acting as the primary liaison for SH&E matters on site. They monitor compliance, support risk management, and facilitate communication between contractors and project leadership. • Identify and align AECOM, project, and legislative SH&E requirements. • Conduct daily visual inspections of contractor activities and report findings. • Coordinate and record site SH&E meetings, including chairing when needed. • Submit safety inspection reports to Resident Engineer and project leads. • Review and verify risk mitigation documents, Safe Work Method Statements, and permits. • Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and operation of safety equipment. • Inspect site security, fire, first aid, and welfare facilities for compliance. • Assist in incident and near‑miss investigations and implement preventative measures. • Provide regular upstream safety reports to Project and SH&E Leads. • Attend risk assessment training and request additional relevant training.

What You Bring
The position requires a diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety or a related discipline, along with NEBOSH GC certification or an equivalent qualification. Candidates must have at least five years of relevant SH&E experience. • Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field. • NEBOSH GC certification or equivalent. • Minimum five years of relevant SH&E experience.
