About the Role

The role involves estimating, planning, and executing projects to ensure they are completed on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with MasTec’s safety, quality, and operational policies while meeting customer needs. The position serves as the primary contact for customers and supports business development. It is a remote role based anywhere in the U.S. but requires up to 50% travel nationwide. • Enforce company safety policies and procedures. • Lead the bidding process for work scopes. • Manage the full project lifecycle from setup to closeout and invoicing. • Interpret customer requirements and ensure quality deliverables. • Identify, track, and document changes to scope and work plans. • Recommend and implement improvements for production, performance, quality, and safety. • Coordinate subcontractor activities on site. • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports for supervisors. • Communicate with clients, resolve disputes, and document change orders. • Conduct onsite audits and drive procedural changes as needed. • Monitor productivity metrics and payroll records. • Ensure accurate document flow, filing, and distribution. • Provide technical support to assure product quality and compliance. • Build client relationships and pursue additional business opportunities. • Mentor apprentices, champion skill development, and manage PWA compliance. • Travel up to 50% of the time to project sites across the United States.

What You Bring

The position requires strong project management, client communication, and leadership skills, along with the ability to mentor apprentices and ensure compliance with prevailing‑wage and apprenticeship regulations. Candidates must have at least five years of experience in renewable‑energy projects, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred). Physical ability to work at heights, solid analytical and reporting capabilities, and proficiency with CAD and standard office software are also required.
