About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager for our Houston office. In this role you will partner with the VDC team to coordinate project tasks, ensure cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards are met, and act as a go‑getter to synchronize all project elements. • Submit RFIs and As‑Built drawings. • Communicate weekly with the field foreman to update schedules. • Facilitate kickoff meetings between office and field teams. • Update project address and maintain current drawings in Smartsheet. • Create, print, and distribute drawings with deliveries. • Prepare and submit change proposals, including vendor quotes and pricing options. • Release duct equipment after VDC confirmation and assist with equipment take‑offs. • Tag fire dampers and generate ductwork submittal drawings for approval. • Oversee day‑to‑day project operations and handle all project‑related calls. • Coordinate deliveries, batch priorities, and apply onsite dates to contract batches. • Manage purchase order requests and maintain monthly change proposal and RFI logs. • Track duct‑leakage reports, update logs, and request schedule updates every 60 days. • Follow up on vendor shipments, address missing or damaged material, and send packing slips to foremen. • Log field documentation (daily reports, delays, wage forms) and monitor job‑site manpower and rental equipment. • Support staffing agency enrollment, safety orientation, and job‑site requirements. • Follow up on outstanding invoices and keep project documentation up to date.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, and possesses a proactive personality capable of managing multiple project elements and communication with field staff, while being willing to work in Smartsheets and having CAD/BIM knowledge. • Utilize Smartsheets for tracking; CAD/BIM knowledge is desired.
