About the Role

The Nuclear Duty Officer (NDO) serves as the senior representative of nuclear management, alerting senior executives to operational events at clean‑energy centers and coordinating corporate groups to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance. The NDO works with the Generation Portfolio Operations Team to optimize efficiency, supports standard‑operations development across the fleet, and acts as a corporate subject‑matter expert on plant operations and regulations. • Establish and enforce consistent operations procedures, policies, and direction aligned with fleet goals. • Identify, develop, and implement best practices from the fleet and industry. • Periodically assess compliance with standard procedures, policies, and directions. • Maintain and execute all responsibilities of the Nuclear Duty Officer. • Travel to other Constellation clean‑energy centers as needed (10%‑50% of time). • Perform additional assignments such as emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and support for outage activities outside the department.

What You Bring

• Hold a current NRC Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license. • Minimum of 7 years of nuclear power plant experience. • At least 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in operations. • Meet minimum access requirements, including unescorted access and a favorable medical examination or testing as required.
