What You Bring
Arcus FM, an award‑winning facilities‑management provider, is seeking an experienced M&E Engineer located in or near the West Midlands. The role is for a Resident M&E Engineer on‑site at a client facility in Birmingham, offering a technically varied, customer‑facing position. The ideal candidate holds 18th Edition or HVAC qualifications, has hands‑on M&E or multi‑skilled engineering experience, strong communication and organisational skills and a solid health‑and‑safety awareness. Desirable additional skills include PPM delivery experience, F‑Gas and IOSH certifications, basic plumbing and fabric maintenance knowledge and 2391 testing and inspection capability. • Electrical and fire alarm testing • Fault finding and repairs (mechanical and electrical) • Compliance with health and safety regulations • 18th Edition or HVAC experience • Hands‑on M&E or multi‑skilled engineering experience • Strong communication and organisational skills • Experience delivering planned preventative maintenance • F‑Gas qualification • IOSH Working Safely certification • Basic plumbing and fabric maintenance experience • 2391 testing and inspection qualification

The package includes a competitive salary of up to £40,290 per annum, 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, enhanced overtime rates and an annual performance bonus of up to 4 %. These benefits are designed to reward expertise and commitment. The role is a 40‑hour week on a rotating 5‑days‑on/2‑days‑off shift pattern, with an on‑call rota of one week in every four.
