About the Role
• Support Business Development in proposal presentations, interviews, and assist Sales/Marketing in building relationships with General Contractors and Architect/Engineer firms. • Prepare preliminary, schematic, design‑development, and construction‑document estimates and studies during pre‑construction. • Initiate and maintain contact with General Contractors and Architecture/Engineering firms. • Participate in design decisions, value engineering, value analysis, scheduling, and constructability reviews. • Identify new work opportunities. • Monitor cost trends. • Evaluate and analyze subcontractor proposals. • Assist in preparing construction schedules for estimating purposes. • Discuss staffing requirements with operations to build project teams. • Regular team‑building and employee appreciation activities.

Employment is subject to a background check, drug screening, and eligibility to work in the United States, with compensation commensurate with experience. • 4 years of estimating experience in a Pre‑Construction Manager role. • Experience with large commercial and industrial projects from concept to close‑out. • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. • Expert computer software skills, especially Microsoft Excel. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Demonstrated employment stability. • Experience with Accubid and/or Conest software. • Knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit.
