About the Role
The Materials Associate is responsible for accurately processing all incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining organized and clean work areas, verifying product quality, and ensuring proper documentation for every order. The role demands meticulous attention to detail, safe material handling, and active communication with the production team to meet customer expectations and production schedules. The Materials Team acts as the vital circulatory system of Base, ensuring that every high‑tech component and finished battery unit moves flawlessly through the facility and to customers. By verifying shipments and streamlining parts flow to the production line, the team enables Base’s commitment to reliability before a product even leaves the warehouse. • Package and wrap products securely for transit. • Verify ERP paperwork for correct quantity and parts. • Generate bills of lading and maintain shipping documentation. • Load finished units onto trailers or storage areas and monitor conveyor lines. • Inspect products for quality and packaging compliance before shipment. • Track daily shipping items and update the production team. • Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely. • Manage recycling of materials per regulations. • Process inbound shipments, verifying counts and quality against paperwork. • Deliver materials or parts to production areas as needed. • Perform visual inspections for accuracy and quality. • Record and maintain accurate inventory data. • Conduct inventory spot checks and assist with month‑end inventory. • Load/unload trailers, sweeping and cleaning to preserve product integrity. • Assist in assembly or production processes when needed. • Perform local deliveries and pickups using company vehicles. • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and aisles. • Share shipping/receiving updates in daily production meetings.

What You Bring
• Stretch wrap and palletize deliveries. • High School Diploma or GED required. • 2+ years shipping, receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred. • Valid driver’s license with a clean record. • Ability to lift 50‑70 lb and perform physical tasks up to 12 hours daily. • Certified forklift and pallet jack operation. • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and teamwork.
