About the Role
The role involves maintaining and operating machinery, including conventional, special‑purpose, and CNC machines such as grinders, drills, and presses. Operators will run resistance welding, brake presses, mechanical power presses, saws, and grinders while consistently meeting production requirements. A clean and safe work area is maintained, finished materials are packed, loaded, and unloaded, and workpieces are inspected for specification compliance. Operators must complete documentation for process monitors and production tickets, start and monitor machine operation, detect malfunctions, and perform repairs as needed during the shift. Work is performed under close supervision, following prescribed processes and seeking guidance for non‑routine issues; deviations are cleared by a supervisor. Limited independent judgment is exercised, with detailed checks reviewed by senior coworkers or supervisors. • Operate CNC, conventional, and special‑purpose machinery including grinders, drills, presses, and saws. • Meet or exceed production targets while maintaining product quality. • Keep the work area clean and adhere to safety protocols. • Pack, load, and unload finished materials and ensure dunnage is used properly. • Inspect finished workpieces to verify compliance with specifications. • Complete required documentation such as process monitors and production tickets. • Monitor machine operation, identify malfunctions, and perform basic repairs during the shift. • Follow prescribed processes, seek supervisor guidance for non‑routine tasks, and obtain clearance for deviations.

What You Bring
The work environment is generally comfortable but includes exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes, as well as intermittent physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, and lifting heavy or awkward items. No travel is required. Education requirements include a high school diploma or GED, with 0‑2 years of relevant experience preferred. Candidates should be able to read and follow safety procedures, use safety equipment, perform basic math, and use a tape measure. One to three years of related experience is desirable. • Use basic math and measurement skills, read safety procedures, and operate safety equipment.
