About the Role

• Lead design and technical oversight for transmission and distribution projects, including substations and transmission lines. • Work closely with project managers and directors to ensure integrated design delivery, risk mitigation, and programme performance. • Mentor and develop junior engineers within multidisciplinary teams. • Act as the primary client‑facing technical contact, handling RFQs and building long‑term relationships. • Support business growth by preparing competitive bids and proposals with practice leaders and the bids team.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 10 years experience delivering complex energy infrastructure in consultancy, client‑side, or contractor settings. • Proven expertise in substation design; experience with transmission line design is advantageous. • Hold an engineering degree (electrical preferred) and, ideally, professional accreditation such as CPEng or RPEV. • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian standards, regulations, and industry codes. • Strong communication, leadership, and client‑engagement capabilities.
