Job Highlights
About the Role
Technicians will install, service, reconnect, and troubleshoot cable TV, high‑speed internet, telephone services, fiber‑to‑the‑home, and home automation systems. They will also educate customers on equipment, promote additional Cox products, and represent the brand with excellent front‑line service while adhering to IES quality and productivity standards. Physical demands include carrying and operating tools, inspecting and installing equipment, safely operating a vehicle, lifting up to 75 lb (including a 28‑foot ladder), climbing ladders or poles, working at heights and in confined spaces, bending, stooping, crawling, and tolerating temporary exposure to fumes and heat. • Install, service, reconnect, and troubleshoot cable TV, internet, telephone, FTTH, and home automation. • Educate customers on services and equipment. • Promote additional Cox products and solutions. • Deliver front‑line customer service as a brand representative. • Meet IES quality and productivity standards.

What You Bring
Applicants must pass a background check and drug screening, hold a valid driver’s license with a good record, and be able to obtain a Sheriff Card or LVMPD license. One or more years of experience in a hands‑on trade (construction, mechanics, manufacturing) and direct customer service, basic PC skills, stable work history, and the ability to work 10‑12+ hour days, shifts, and overtime are required. • Pass background check and drug screening. • Valid state driver’s license with good record; obtain Sheriff Card/LVMPD license. • 1+ year experience in construction, mechanics, manufacturing, or similar trade. • 1+ year direct customer service experience. • Basic PC and Windows software skills. • Ability to work 10–12+ hour days, shifts, and overtime. • Strong communication skills; Spanish a plus. • High school diploma or GED preferred; post‑high school education a plus. • Physical ability to lift 75 lb, handle a 28‑foot ladder, climb poles, and work at heights. • Capability to work in confined spaces and tolerate fumes and heat.
