About the Role
In this role you will deliver structural analysis and design for steel and concrete facilities, develop foundation systems, produce detailed drawings and calculations, and conduct site visits for construction reviews and field verifications. You will work closely with clients, internal design partners and contractors, prepare technical reports and proposals, and assist project management to keep work on schedule and within budget. • Perform structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures in heavy industrial and mining projects. • Develop and review foundation system designs for long‑term performance and safety. • Produce structural drawings, calculations, and construction documentation. • Conduct site visits for construction reviews, field verifications, and design assessments. • Collaborate with clients, internal design partners, and contractors to support project delivery. • Prepare technical reports and proposal documents. • Support project management to ensure schedule and budget compliance.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, a BC Professional Engineer licence, and 5–8 years of structural design experience in consulting, preferably within the mining or processing sectors. You must be knowledgeable of CSA design standards and Building Codes, proficient in STAAD‑PRO, S‑Frame, SAP2000, SAFE and AutoCAD, with Revit Structure as an asset. Strong teamwork, communication skills, a valid driver’s licence, and the ability to travel to project sites are required; French language skills are a plus. • Hold a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and a BC Professional Engineer (P.Eng) licence. • Possess 5–8 years of structural engineering design experience, preferably in industrial or mining consulting. • Knowledge of CSA design standards and National/Provincial Building Codes. • Proficient in STAAD‑PRO, S‑Frame, SAP2000, SAFE; familiar with AutoCAD; Revit Structure is an asset. • Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to project sites; French language skills are a plus.
