GMP Cleaner

About the Role

Typical duties include maintaining floors, rugs, furniture, windows, walls, and restrooms; handling trash removal and snow clearing; and conducting periodic tasks such as high‑dusting, polishing, and leather care. All work is performed with appropriate cleaning equipment, including commercial floor buffers, shampoo machines, and portable backpack vacuums. • Sweep, mop, and wash floors using commercial buffers and shampoo machines • Vacuum rugs and perform spot‑cleaning or shampooing as directed • Dust furniture, exhibit cases, lighting fixtures, and conduct periodic high‑dusting • Clean interior windows, glass, door trims, and wash walls daily • Maintain and restock restrooms, empty waste, monitor fixtures and report issues • Collect building trash, replace liners, and handle snow removal from entrances • Use portable backpack vacuums and other cleaning equipment safely • Follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and cooperate within a team

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $17.87 to $18.00 per hour, with eligibility for health, vision, dental, retirement, life, and disability benefits.
