About the Role
Key duties include checking inventory at the loading dock, preparing all components—modules, racking, mounts, and electrical equipment—according to the project plan, applying weather sealing to roofing structures, and performing thorough clean‑up of the client site and installation vehicle. • Ensure personal, crew, and job‑site safety and attend safety training. • Verify truck inventory at the loading dock before each job. • Layout and assemble solar modules, racking, mounts, and electrical equipment per project plan. • Apply weather sealing to roofing structures and complete site clean‑up. • Follow company safety policies, identify hazards, and encourage safe work practices. • Provide courteous, professional interaction with customers and coworkers. • Meet project deadlines and performance metrics in a fast‑paced team environment. • Lift up to 50 lb regularly (up to 100 lb with assistance) and transport materials. • Perform rooftop work, climbing ladders, and using fall‑protection equipment safely. • Operate in diverse outdoor conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and noise. • Participate in 401(k) with company match and employee stock purchase plan.

What You Bring
Candidates with prior solar, construction, or military experience are preferred, though not required. Success in this role requires professional interaction with customers and coworkers, and a proven track record of meeting deadlines in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. The role requires physical stamina, including lifting heavy materials, working on various roof angles, climbing ladders, and navigating confined spaces such as attics and crawl‑spaces. Installers must also function safely in extreme weather, noise, and low‑light conditions while using fine motor skills and hearing verbal commands. • Use fine motor skills for tool handling and work in confined spaces such as attics.
