About the Role

The role oversees a department of up to approximately 25 FTE, delivering services across multiple HM companies and geographies. Responsibilities include financial and non‑financial accountability for the team’s output. • Manage high‑volume transaction team, ensuring processes follow training, documentation, controls, and SLA “right first time”. • Recruit, develop, retain skilled staff and allocate daily work queues. • Monitor team and individual performance using data; adjust tactics proactively to meet deliverables. • Maintain proactive relationships with international middle managers, lead governance meetings, and respond quickly to escalations. • Build deep system and end‑to‑end process knowledge; mentor team, investigate complex transactions, and deliver root‑cause analysis. • Identify inefficiencies, collaborate on alternative solutions, propose improvements, and lead continuous‑improvement projects. • Ensure compliance with Heidelberg Materials Compliance Policy. • Perform all business operations per instructions to prevent fraud. • Comply with Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, Company Safety Policy, and relevant legislation. • Proactively manage employee health & safety to improve performance. • Keep knowledge up‑to‑date and attend required training/development. • Follow all HR policies and procedures.
