About the Role

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic you will service and repair essential equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, and front‑end loaders that keep our recycling facilities running for over 20 million customers. The role also involves preventative maintenance, paperwork, and maintaining auxiliary equipment like light plants and welders. • Repair bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front‑end loaders, yard trucks, tractors, forklifts, and company cars • Diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulics, motors, transmissions, drives, AC, and electrical systems • Perform preventative maintenance per site checklist • Complete paperwork and admin tasks (work orders, card files, PM checklists, oil samples) • Service and maintain light plants, water pumps, welders, and other equipment • Works independently and takes accountability for quality

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be at least 18 years old, legally eligible to work in the United States, and be able to meet the physical demands of the job. Successful applicants will also pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical examination.
