About the Role
In this role you will use SB&D shipping procedures to verify and maintain records of inbound and outbound shipments, prepare items for dispatch, and match shipment details to invoices and orders. You will unpack and inspect incoming goods, reject damaged items, and log any shortages. Communication with shippers and customers to resolve discrepancies is a daily responsibility. You will also provide front‑counter and phone customer service, process sales and service transactions, and support Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) objectives for the center. Maintaining a clean, orderly workspace and complying with safety regulations are required. When needed, you will assist at the counter during breaks or peak periods. • Verify and record incoming and outgoing shipments using SB&D procedures. • Prepare items for shipment ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Match shipment details against invoices, orders, and packing slips. • Unpack, inspect, and reject damaged goods; document shortages. • Communicate with shippers and customers to resolve damages or shortages. • Provide phone and counter customer service and process sales/service transactions. • Support Environmental Health & Safety goals and maintain a clean, safe work area. • Assist front‑counter operations during breaks or high‑traffic periods.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate can work full‑time Monday‑Friday, with flexibility for extra hours, and has prior experience in shipping and receiving within a warehouse or retail setting. Strong problem‑solving, data‑entry, and communication skills, combined with high integrity and attention to detail, are essential. A bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health, safety management, or a related field and at least five years of EHS experience are preferred. • Prior experience in shipping/receiving and proficiency with data‑entry systems. • Strong problem‑solving, communication, integrity, and attention‑to‑detail. • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and minimum five years of EHS management experience (preferred).
