About the Role
We are seeking a permanent Programme Lead to manage senior direct reports, provide strategic direction and champion continuous improvement across the programme. The role involves overseeing delivery, ensuring safety, quality and governance, and acting as the public face of the programme. • Lead and coordinate delivery of the major airport expansion programme, aligning with strategic vision. • Define and implement the programme delivery environment, covering people, processes, information and technology. • Assemble and manage a skilled project team, including external specialists as required. • Optimize resources and improve performance against the bid baseline through monitoring and evaluation. • Act as primary public representative, chairing executive steering group meetings with stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, sustainability, governance, risk and stakeholder management standards. • Oversee creation and maintenance of programme documentation such as plans, reports, registers and lessons learned. • Foster a high‑performing, inclusive team culture that recognises contributions. • Translate broader business strategy into programme actions and promote related initiatives. • Guarantee commercial and ethical viability of operations, supporting business objectives and regulatory compliance. • Create opportunity: champion continuous improvement and inspire team development.
