About the Role

In this position you will load appropriate materials onto the laser table, set up and operate the laser cutter according to specifications, work instructions, schedules, and drawings, and use a steel gauge to verify material thickness. You will unload, sort, and inspect finished parts with precision instruments, checking tolerances and visual quality. What You Bring

The Fabrication Production Support Operator works with laser and press‑brake machines to convert sheet metal into parts for transformer and regulator tanks. The role includes moving materials to the laser, performing routine machine maintenance, and assisting in metal‑forming operations at press‑brake stations. Operators must be flexible, perform various jobs as directed, and support teammates to keep the continuous‑flow production line moving. The company offers training in laser and press‑brake operation, troubleshooting techniques, and related skills. Candidates must have at least two years of laser experience in a manufacturing environment and experience safely operating forklifts and cranes. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with the ability to read measuring devices, blueprints, and interpret verbal and written instructions. Basic math skills, the capability to troubleshoot minor program errors independently, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform bending, twisting, and other essential duties are also required. Applicants must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the work location, except for active‑duty military members. • Provide at least 2 years of laser experience and forklift/crane operation experience. • Hold a high school diploma or GED and possess basic math and blueprint reading skills. • Ability to lift up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks required by the role. • Must reside within 50 mi of the location (active‑duty military exempt). • Receive training on laser/press‑brake operation and troubleshooting techniques.
