About the Role
The Data Center Project Lead – India, based in Gurgaon, will oversee end‑to‑end HVAC and cooling delivery for data center projects across the country, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with global data‑center standards. • Lead HVAC scope for greenfield and expansion data center projects across India • Develop and implement SOP/playbook for data center project planning, execution, and compliance • Review HVAC designs in line with applicable and Uptime standards • Manage HVAC consultants, EPC contractors, OEMs, and commissioning agents • Act as senior interface for high‑stake customers and projects • Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover to operations • Participate in technical evaluations, BOQs, tenders, and vendor selection • Develop and drive a team of data center project experts for on‑time delivery across multiple projects • Track project KPIs (operational/financial) and drive continuous improvement • Coordinate with manufacturing locations for on‑time delivery of equipment

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering • 12+ years of HVAC experience with strong exposure to data center or mission‑critical projects in India • Hands‑on experience with chilled water systems, CRAH/CRAC, and high‑density cooling • Proven ability to manage multi‑site projects, vendors, and fast‑track schedules • Familiarity with Indian codes, local authorities, and site execution practices • PMP or data center certifications preferred
