About the Role

WSP is seeking a Vice President of Quality and Audit to lead quality strategy and execution for a U.S. business line. The role translates enterprise quality priorities into practical actions that support successful project delivery, strengthen client confidence, and protect margins. Key responsibilities include translating HSEQ priorities into risk‑based actions, strengthening governance without adding unnecessary burden, developing and maintaining ISO 9001‑aligned quality procedures and the Quality Management System, and leading drop‑in assessments and internal audits. The VP provides meaningful quality insights and reporting, supports high‑risk project reviews, proposal and pricing activities, and monthly project reviews, and coaches teams on quality planning and Project Quality Plans. • Translate enterprise HSEQ priorities into risk‑based actions supporting delivery and business goals. • Build trusted relationships with business line leadership to understand portfolio risks and client needs. • Strengthen governance and execution of quality activities without adding undue burden. • Develop and maintain national quality procedures, tools, and a QMS aligned with ISO 9001. • Lead drop‑in assessments and internal audits, interpret results, and drive corrective actions. • Provide quality insights and reporting that inform leadership decisions and guide improvement. • Support high‑risk project reviews, proposal pricing, and monthly project reviews. • Coach project teams on quality planning, review discipline, and implementation of Project Quality Plans. • Identify training needs and deliver quality induction and targeted training initiatives. • Promote an integrated Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality culture and early escalation of emerging risks.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has 12 + years of progressive experience in engineering, professional services, project delivery, or quality management, including enterprise‑level leadership. They must demonstrate senior partnership influence, deep understanding of project risk and quality planning, audit and performance‑data expertise, strong executive presence, a bachelor’s degree, and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency. Preferred qualifications include HSEQ certifications, ISO 9001/14001/45001 audit experience, professional membership in ASQ or IOSH, and experience with Microsoft Power BI for reporting.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $128,000 to $236,610 nationally (Colorado: $125,500‑$217,800), with adjustments based on education, experience, internal equity, and location.
