About the Role
In this position you will participate in pre‑construction development, conduct constructability reviews, oversee construction activities, and lead inspections while communicating effectively with project teams and stakeholders. The role offers opportunities to tackle new challenges and advance a career in construction management, concentrating on transportation projects in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area. • Lead pre‑construction development and constructability reviews. • Inspect work materials and methods for compliance with contract documents, quality, and safety. • Document construction activity, including environmental events and progress, for project closeout. • Issue and follow up on contract deficiency reports and corrective actions. • Resolve construction‑related issues and improve processes. • Perform QA/QC functions and coordinate inspections. • Manage change notices and track as‑built drawings on small projects. • Collaborate with stakeholders to solve complex problems and report contract compliance. • Review contractor work quality and prepare client reports.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. • P.Eng designation. • Minimum 10 years of construction engineering experience, including field construction and contract administration in Toronto/GTA. • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to sites and work outside normal hours. • Experience in construction inspection, especially mechanical/electrical systems. • Structural design experience. • Strong knowledge of industry standards, health and safety codes, and regulations.
